Imagine Christmas-In 2005 Aloft was approached by Willow Creek Church to create the first Imagine Christmas. Collaborating with the church and other performance groups, we wound a beautiful tale of creation. Imagine Christmas has since become a national sensation, and Aloft has been honored to perform at many of these celebrations.
Science of Heart-a 60 min show created for the Innovation of the America Awards and Mori Seiki International. The show was presented in a non-traditional venue, limited by multiple columns and difficult sight lines. A story about a Sad Scientist, who kept trying to invent machines that would love him, but it's not until he puts passion into his work that he can truly discover joy and fulfillment. With a cast of 7 and a live band, playing specially written music and animated projections, this show was a delight to create and perform and left the audience with a feeling of wonder and possibility.
The Circus Princess-Created for the Medora Musical in North Dakota. This is a 3 woman show on our free standing aerial rig, with a running time of 20 min. It tells the story of a mean Circus Princess who comes to town and bullies all the little girls. She learns a lesson in the end, though, about co-operation and friendship. The audience of up to 3000 gave us standing ovations almost every night for 3 weeks!
The Gatsby Wedding--Aloft created an evening full of bespoke entertainment for a beautiful Great Gatsby Themed Wedding in South Bend Indiana. Taking into account the theme and rich family history of the location, Aloft scoured vintage costume vaults, taught the bridal party and guests dance steps and dazzled all through-oput the evening, delighting young and old alike.
